64th Georgia at Olustee Station, February 16-18, 2024

On the weekend of February 16 - 18, 2024, the 160th anniversary of the Battle of Olustee will take place at Olustee Battlefield State Park, near Sanderson, Florida.

The 64th Georgia Infantry will be retracing it’s historical footprints at the Battle of Olustee at the Olustee Battlefield State Park near Sanderson, Florida.

The 64th Georgia Infantry, originally formed in the Spring of 1863 with 400 men, has been reformed in the Fall of 2022 with the aim of being an authentic representation of this historical regiment. This is a Campaigner unit which means we eat, sleep, march, and fight on the same battlefield ground that, as one Georgia newspaper reported, was "a terrible thrashing" for the Federal Forces.
